Review: Gluten Free Beer From Nick Stafford & Celia
This week, we’re reviewing two kinds of gluten free beer. Our first one is ‘Nick Stafford’s Hambleton Ales’ and the other is the Czech beer, ‘Celia’.
Nick Stafford’s Gluten Free Beer
Our first beer is Nick Stafford’s, which in our opinion tasted very rustic and ale-like. It was strong at 5.2% and had a slightly bitter aftertaste. It wasn’t very fizzy, but was drinkable and tasty. This beer is ideal for those who like ale, as it had a particularly ‘hoppy’ flavour. 7/10
Celia Gluten Free Beer
The next beer which we tried was called ‘Celia’ from Czechoslovakia. This was much more drinkable and came in a smaller bottle as well. It had much more of a coppery aftertaste but was much more like a beer than the other one, a definite buy for the summer. 9/10
All of our beer was supplied by Booths Supermarkets. You can find Nick Stafford’s Gluten Free Beer at Hambleton Ales and Celia Gluten Free Beer is available at Celia Lager.
