Review: Nick Stafford’s Gluten Free Ale
As you will know, I recently reviewed Nick Stafford’s Gluten Free Lager, and was advised to try out their gluten free ale. I am confident in saying that it is a wonderful substitute for Ale – it tasted delicious and was a perfect gluten-free drink to have outside as the sun went down.
The ale tastes much better than the lager, a much smoother drink to have and very beer-like. It was tasty, thirst-quenching and not as alcoholic at 4.8%, all the things you want for a good summer beer. It was very drinkable, and perfect for summer parties or BBQs where you’ll be drinking over a longer period of time. It’s best served chilled, as with most beers, and I would highly recommend Nick Stafford’s Gluten Free Ale to anyone on a gluten-free diet.
Whilst it is still more expensive than most beers and more difficult to find, we got ours from Booths in Cheshire.
