Sliced ham in supermarkets is unreasonably expensive, and a lot of people are worried about how to cook a whole gammon joint. This recipe has been tried and tested many a time and tastes delicious. Serve your roast ham with egg and chips or in a sandwich.
You Will Need: (Serves 6 Roast Ham)
- 1 Unsmoked Gammon Joint (1.3kg)
- 3 tbsp Heinz Dijon Mustard (Heinz is gluten-free!)
- 3 Stalks of Rosemary
- 3 Stalks of Thyme
- 2 tsp Cumin Seeds
Begin by preheating the oven to 180*.
Place your gammon joint in a roasting tray and cover with the mustard.
Pull the sprigs off the rosemary and thyme stalks and sprinkle over the top.
Sprinkle over the cumin seeds before roasting in the oven for 2 hours.
