Snap Crackle and Pop Rice Krispie Bites
Rice Krispies are possibly the best gluten free cereal out there for kids. They snap, crackle and pop – always a great mood lifter in the morning – and are easy to eat for children. These bites are the perfect gluten free after school treat or party food.
You Will Need: (Makes 32 Snap Crackle and Pop Rice Krispie Bites)
- 200g Gluten Free Marshmallows (make sure they have no starch that has gluten in!)
- 200g Soft Toffee
- 300g Unsalted Butter
- 400g Gluten Free Rice Krispies
Line a large tray (you may need an extra one) with baking parchment. Melt the marshmallows, toffee and butter together in a pan over a low heat. Once melted, take off the heat and allow to cool for a couple of minutes before adding the rice krispies to the mix and placing in the fridge.
Leave your Snap Crackle and Pop Rice Krispie Bites in the fridge for a couple of hours, overnight would be even better, before serving. You can also drizzle them with melted chocolate to make them extra naughty!
