Spicy Cajun Tuna
This spicy cajun tuna was made as a starter after we found some tuna steaks reduced in our local supermarket. It’s really easy to make and can either be served as a starter, or as a main course.
You Will Need: (Serves Spicy Cajun Tuna for 2)
- 2 fresh, line-caught Tuna Fillets
- 3 tsp Cajun
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 Lemon, zested
In a small bowl, mix the cajun spice with the olive oil.
Place your tuna fillets in this cajun marinade and evenly coat each side.
Heat a frying pan over a medium-heat and, once smoking, place the oiled tuna fillets in the pan. Cook for around 3 mins on each side, depending on thickness and how well cooked you like it.
Add the lemon zest to the pan at the last minute and then serve.
A squeeze of lemon or lime juice really brings the dish alive, and serve with rice.
